This Privacy Policy explains how prioority.com ("we", "us", "our website") collects, uses and protects information when you visit prioority.com and use its tools (Find My IP, Unit Converter, Currency Converter, Subnet Calculator, and any other tool we add). We are committed to processing personal data lawfully, fairly and transparently, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable privacy laws.

1. Data we process, and why

1.1 The tools themselves

The Unit Converter, Currency Converter and Subnet Calculator run entirely in your browser: the numbers you type are never sent to our servers. The "Find My IP" tool detects your public IP address by calling a third-party public API directly from your browser; we do not log or store the IP address it returns. Currency exchange rates are fetched from a public rates provider and cached; no personal data is involved.

1.2 Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage and device identifiers) for the purposes described below. Except for cookies that are strictly necessary to run the site, we only set these after you give consent through the cookie banner shown on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time — see Section 4.

2. Google Analytics (GA4)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage of the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers to collect information such as pages visited, approximate location (derived from IP address, which Google truncates/anonymizes for EU users), device and browser type, and referral source. This data is processed by Google in accordance with its own privacy policy. We do not use Google Analytics to identify individual visitors.

3. Google AdSense & advertising

prioority.com is a free service funded in part by advertising delivered through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites, and — only if you consent — to personalize the ads you see.

4. Managing your cookie consent

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access the personal data we (or our processors) hold about you; request correction or deletion of it; restrict or object to its processing; request a copy in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

6. Data retention

We do not operate our own user database or accounts, so we do not retain personal data beyond what is described above. Analytics and advertising data is retained by Google according to Google's own retention policies, which you can review in the links provided in Sections 2 and 3.

7. Children's privacy

prioority.com is a general-audience utility website and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect new tools, new advertising or analytics partners, or changes in the law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest revision.
